BRUSSELS, 9 November 2016 – WSBI Asia-Pacific Group is moving forward on business cooperation between members.
A group of leaders from Government Savings Bank (GSB) of Thailand gave a warm welcome on November 2 to executives from Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) of Malaysia who visted the Thai bank's head office in Bangkok. Together, the wunch of bankers discussed collaboration on remittance and payment systems via direct banking.
At the conclusion of the meeting, BSN delegation visited the exhibition "The King the saver…to sustainable savings", which was displayed during the 2016 National Saving Day at the area of King Rama VI Statue located at GSB's head office in Thailand.

About the Asia-Pacific Regional Group
WSBI Asia-Pacific Regional Group was established to bring together the members in the region to keep close exchange on specific issues and to promote the exchange of best practices and create business cooperation opportunities. Representing 21 financial institutions from 15 countries, group members meet at least once a year at annual regional group meetings.
Cooperation between WSBI members in the group ranges from contact building and exchanges of information to the development of concrete business opportunities, at bilateral or multilateral level. For example, members host training workshops for other members, sign business cooperation memoranda of understanding, exchange expertise and enter into reciprocal business partnerships.
