LatAm, Caribbean members explore 21st century banking

BRUSSELS, 3 October 2016 – Close to 100 financial players as well as officials of central banks and supervisory authorities have registered for this year's WSBI Latin America and the Caribbean Regional Group (GRULAC) meeting scheduled for 11-12 October in Panama City. The two-day meetings are designed to promote the exchange of experiences and knowledge on modern-day banking under the theme "24/7 customer service, presence anywhere, anytime".
The event also aims at creating opportunities for future collaboration among participants, which also include experts and multilateral agencies from the region. An array of topics related to the conference theme include: thriving national financial inclusion strategies, cybersecurity, and in-house customer-centric approaches. A closing ceremony will highlight World Savings Day and related efforts made by GRULAC members.
