Conference also focuses on private equity, mobile banking
BRUSSELS, 18 June 2014 – WSBI participated in a two-day event in Milan on 16-17 June organised in the framework of the MED Confederation by IEMed and in collaboration with Promos and with the support of the European Investment Bank. The main objective was to analyse and propose ideas and policy proposals to reform and improve the performance of the financial sector in the Mediterranean region focusing on three main aspects: banking reform, private equity and mobile banking.
WSBI provided input to sessions relating to banking reform and delivered a presentation relating to mobile banking.
The meeting of the working group precedes a report that will be published in September by IEMed providing recommendations to policy makers and other stakeholders.
