 Comparative study of laws governing savings, retail banks in eight European countries.

​​​BRUSSELS, 30 October 2014 – ​​ESBG has published today a study on the legal environment of savings and retail banks in various European countries. 

This comparative study of the laws governing the savings and retail banks of Finland, France, Germany, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Sweden provides information and evidence that demonstrate why savings and retail banks should be protected from the potential negative consequences of comprehensive banking reform.
