BRUSSELS, 23 June 2016 – ESBG will hold on 15-16 September in Malaga, Spain, its new international Summer Forum. The two-day event is a unique networking opportunity for exchanging experiences with fellow peers from retail and savings banks in Europe and worldwide on the latest best practices in the retail banking and on regulatory and supervisory issues impacting the sector. Executives at all levels of retail, personal, consumer and international retail banking, as well as bank regulatory and compliance experts, are invited to attend this year's forum that looks at what banks must do to better meet SME customer needs and also the role digitisation can play. It will also explore how banks can remain top of mind with SMEs while striking the best balance between digital and physical assets at each point of contact with customers. The forum will address the challenge raised by new entrants and the response that banks are starting to provide in order to adapt to the market changes.
