ESRA training programme: Don't miss out

ESRA training programme: Don't miss out

ESRA online course information now available

BRUSSELS, 19 June 2018 – WSBI-ESBG received news that the ESRA Training Programme has announced its calendar for the remainer of 2018.

WSBI-ESBG member banks should take note of the relevant and timely topics listed below that relate to sustainable finance and related areas.

Commenting on the programme, Paul Clements-Hunt, former UNEP Finance Initiative head and chief executive of The Blended Capital Group, said: “The ESRA Training Programme is most probably one the most influential outcomes of UNEP FI in terms of transformational thinking, ideas and actions across an industry. A metric impossible to calculate but, as per the wings of a butterfly, how many projects backed by banks, insurers and investors globally bear the hidden watermark of ESRA and as a result how many lives changed, jobs created, communities stronger, water kept pure, air cleaner and trees still growing."

The Environmental & Social Risk Analysis (ESRA) online courses provide in-depth and personalised training. Tutors engage with participants online on a daily basis, providing guidance and facilitating debates. Participants are involved in a range of activities, from simulating implementation of environmental and social policies and guidelines and analysing case studies, to carrying out exercises based on your own clients' environmental and social impacts.
