​BRUSSELS, 10 August 2020 – WSBI updated its Africa Regional Group brochure that provides an overview of the social value of savings and retail banks. Called Banking. Serving. Thriving, the online publication showcases WSBI members' inclusive and socially-committed approach to banking as well as their commitment and support to the real economy. 

It features compelling case studies, examples of innovative retail banking products and services, real initiatives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and updated facts and figures. Provided stories, among others, include financial education and financial inclusion initiatives, as well as some examples of measures in the context of Covid-19. This digital publication also includes videos, testimonials and pictures that further bring the case studies to life.

Aimed at helping policymakers and stakeholders better understand the sector, the publication paints a clearer picture of who we are and what we value: responsibly managed banks that are retail focused and regionally present.

WSBI présente la bibliothèque numérique du Groupe régional Afrique

 

Bruxelles, le 18 août 2020 –​ Le World Savings and Retail Banking Institute vous invite à découvrir la bibliothèque numérique du Groupe régional Afrique qui, à travers d’études de cas, donne un aperçu de la valeur sociale des caisses d'épargne et banques de détail. Intitulée Banque. Service. Réussite., la publication met en lumière l'approche inclusive et socialement engagée des membres du WSBI ainsi que leur engagement et leur soutien à l'économie réelle.

La publication présente des études de cas concrets, des exemples de produits et services innovants, de véritables initiatives alignées sur les objectifs de développement durable (ODD) et des faits et chiffres actualisés sur le Groupe régional Afrique du WSBI. Les articles comprennent des initiatives d'éducation et d'inclusion financière, ainsi que quelques exemples de mesures prises dans le contexte de la Covid-19. Cette publication numérique comprend également des vidéos, des témoignages et des images qui donnent vie aux études de cas.​
