BRUSSELS, 1 September 2016 – Registrations keep coming in for this year's WSBI Latin America and the Caribbean Regional Group (GRULAC) Meeting scheduled for 11-12 October in Panama. Held at the Miramar Intercontinental Hotel in Panama City, the two-day meetings are designed to promote the exchange of experiences and knowledge on modern day banking – 24/7 customer service, presence anywhere, anytime. The event also aims at creating opportunities for future collaboration among participants.
The GRULAC meeting will gather financial players, officials of central banks, supervisory authorities, other multilateral agencies related to the issue in the region, and experts from the institutional, cooperation and business sectors.
Topics and activities
The event will explore an array of topics related to the conference theme, including: thriving national financial inclusion strategies, cybersecurity, and in-house customer-centric approaches. A closing ceremony will give special attention to the World Savings Day, highlighting initiatives of GRULAC members.
