The conference will address a number of aspects related to how financial education can harness empowerment in areas such as entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, development, etc. It will also explore and provide insights about research and experiences on the measurement of the impact of financial education programmes.
Finally, the complementarity between financial education and consumer protection legislation will be explored. The event will gather a wide range of stakeholders, including researchers in academia, standard setters, policymakers, representatives of not-for-profit institutions, international organisations and, of course, WSBI-ESBG members.
