Adviser Capital Markets

The job involves the following:

  • ​​Monitoring the developments at EU level in the field of capital markets regulation (MiFID, PRIIPs, Prospectus Regulation, Benchmarks Regulation, Market Abuse, EMIR…), and informing the Members of WSBI / ESBG about these developments;
  • Representing the interests of ESBG / WSBI Members in the capital markets regulation areas;
  • Preparing common positions gathering the views of all ESBG / WSBI Members;
  • Liaising with bodies active in capital markets regulation, at EU and global levels: e.g. European Commission, European Parliament, Council Presidency, European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) and the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO).

Profile: 

  • Experience of 2-3 years in banking / capital markets;
  • Good political, strategic and technical understanding of capital markets regulation;
  • Understanding of the EU law-making environment;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a multi-cultural environment essential;
  • Perfect command in English, other EU languages are an asset.
