​WSBI sponsors study on mobile telephones and banking behaviour

 

​​BRUSSELS, 22 May​ 2014 – In emerging markets, where we know that close to 100 per cent of individuals use mobile phones and only some 35 per cent utilize financial services, mobile usage behavior opens up a new data-driven way to identify the unbanked and who among them is most likely to accept and use financial products.
